Single-photo posts usually open as a direct image preview. Video posts depend on whether a playable public video URL is available. Carousel posts can include multiple public images or videos in one result.
This distinction matters because a post can be public while one media asset inside it is unavailable for browser playback, preview, or saving.
Troubleshooting
What to try when a public post does not load
Check whether the link is a normal public post URL, then try the username instead of the post URL if the copied link includes extra tracking parameters.
If the post was removed, restricted, or moved behind a private profile, the viewer will keep the public-only boundary and show no hidden content.
